欅原神社

Located in the Tsumai district, surrounded by houses to the north of Obuse town.
Originally enshrined as Suwa Shrine, it was renamed to its current name during the Meiji period.
The shrine area is narrow and long from the entrance, with a straight path leading to the shrine.
The torii is a Ryobu torii with a roof made of iron plates on the kasagi.
There are no vivid colors, and the shrine building can be seen ahead.

The shrine building, standing in a clear and bright forest, has a worship hall with an irimoya-zukuri roof at the front.
There is an outhouse enclosing the main hall at the back, with a shrine building beside it.
The beams and the upper part of the worship hall, frog-leg carvings, and wooden noses have carvings, but the shrine is simple with no major decorations.
